how to recover password through passowrd recovery control
i want to send passord through user's mail id's

how can i do this wht setting needed to apply on web.config ??

you need to add smtp setting in your web.config.

in case if you want to try using gmail .. check online for sending email with asp.net using gmail account.
you need to set smtp port and host accordingly.
